Spectacular trip to the highlights of Ladakh and Kashmir, On this interesting trip you will visit the scenic and cultural highlights in Ladakh and the green valley of Kashmir. The Buddhist Ladakh is often called “Little Tibet”. It impresses with barren regions with remote, small villages, deep blue high mountain lakes, and impressive monasteries. On the road trip from Ladakh to Kashmir, you will drive several high passes and reach the green valley of Kashmir with Srinagar as the center on one of the most spectacular roads in the world. You will spend a relaxing time on a houseboat on the legendary Dal Lake. The great Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, who built the Taj Mahal is said “If there were heaven on earth then it would be Kashmir!”

Day 01: Arrive at Delhi
Arrive in Delhi, Collect your bags and make your way to the exit where you will meet our airport representative, he will be waiting for you. You will transfer to the Delhi hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 02: Delhi – Leh
Early morning you will be taken to Delhi airport to board a flight for Leh. The flights depart at 06:40 Hrs and Arrive at 0755 hrs.
On arrival at Leh Airport and transfer to the Leh Hotel, the rest of the day at leisure to acclimatize. Afternoon enjoys an orientation walk around town.
DAY 03: Leh
After breakfast, you will go to Leh city tour to visit some of the spectacular monasteries in the area surroundings Leh, visiting Tikes, Moatho, and Shey monasteries. The ancient capital on the Indus its a giant golden Buddha. We will find beautiful palaces, temples, and restored murals; here you will visit Hemis Monastery located 45 kilometers west of Leh.
DAY 04: Leh – Nubra Valley
The government of India has recently opened up The Nubra valley for foreigners, Nubra Valley located on the Tibetan plateau is like stepping back in time. Here you will drive the highest road in the world and over the Khardung La (5600 M) before descending into the valley. In the afternoon you will be free to explore the region.
DAY 05: Nubra Valley
After breakfast, we will see the Diskit Monastery, Passing through villages to see how the Nubra people live, here enjoying the magnificent culture and scenery before backing to the hotel. A visit to the nearby Nubra dunes will give you the chance to see the local Bactrian camels.
DAY 06: Nubra Valley – Leh
This morning after breakfast we back over the Kharung-La to Leh, a Journey of 4-5 hours. On arrival at Leh, you will be transferred to your hotel for an overnight stay.
DAY 07: Leh – Kargil
After breakfast we will drive to Kargil, Stopping at the Alchi Monastery en-route where you will be stopped for Lunch and to visit Monastery. After Lunch, you will continue Lamayuru and on to Kargil. Today’s driving time will be about 07-08 Hours stops for visits and Lunch.
DAY 08: Kargil – Rangdum
After breakfast, we drive to Rangdum through the spectacular Zanskar Valley. You camp located just before the beautiful Buddhist monastery with delightful Villages dotted around, which forms the perfect place where you can enjoy a good walk. The Zanskar is considered themselves different from the Ladakhis of the Indus Valley and provides another cultural dimension while based among some spectacular Scenery.
DAY 09: Rangdum
All-day in Rangdum to explore its culture and beauty on trails used for decades by both trader and holy men along the picture-que of Rangdum Monastery perched on a hillock above the valley floor, it is a pleasant walk to visit the cheerful monks both old and young who reside there.
DAY 10: Rangdum – Kargil
After breakfast, we drive out of the Zanskar Valley and on to Kargil. If time permits then you can pay a visit into the Islamic town of Kargil to see the dusty daily goings-on before heading to your hotel.
DAY 11: Kargil – Srinagar
Today we will start our journey to Srinagar, a journey of approximately 6-7 hours.
DAY 12: Srinagar
After breakfast visiting the beautiful Mughul Garden made by Emperor Akbar & the old city with its narrows streets and ancient mosques to explore. We will also visit the 18th Century Hari Parbat Fort. Built by Akbar in the 1590s.
DAY 13: Srinagar
Today you will be woken by your houseboat staff with a hot cup of tea, before boarding a shikara and being paddled to the floating vegetable markets. Later you will be picked up from the houseboats and taken on a guided heritage walk through Old Srinagar.

DAY 14: Srinagar – Delhi (Departure)
After breakfast, you will be collected from your houseboats and transfer to Sri Nagar Airport to board a flight for Delhi. Upon arrival at Delhi Airport our Services End.
