Overview

During this individual/group tour you will take you spiritual places in India our first stop at Varanasi, where you will experience the special significance of the Ganges river.  The holy city of Hindu Allahabad where three rivers meet together called Sangam, Then we visit another city called Ayodhaya birthplace of Lord Rama, Khurshetra city of Mahabarata, our journey will end in Rishikesh the city is famous for yoga and also call the Gateway of God.

DAY 01:  Arrival at Delhi

Met upon arrival at Delhi airport and after assistance at the airport transfer to your Hotel.

DAY 02: Delhi – Varanasi

Have breakfast at the hotel and check-out of rooms and proceed with the sightseeing tour of Delhi.

The morning we proceed with the visit of the Old Delhi’s Digambar Jain Mandir, established in the 17th Century. It also houses a small bird hospital within its compound. After this take a rickshaw ride across the old streets of Chandni Chow with a drive past the Jumma Masjid. After this drive past the Red Fort to visit Raj Ghat, a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi. After this drive past the ruins of the Feroz Shah Kotla. Here located within and seen very well from outside is the remain of Ashoka’s Pillar. After this Lakshmi Narayan Mandir built-in 1938 by the industrialist BD Birla.

After lunch proceeds with visit After this visit Indira Gandhi Memorial Museum, located in a sprawling yet simple white bungalow where the great leader Mrs. Gandhi lived as prime minister of India. Evening in time transfer to the station to board the overnight train for Varanasi with packed dinner.

DAY 03: Varanasi

Arrive in at Varanasi station and after assistance at the station transfer to your Hotel. Arrive at Hotel and proceed with breakfast. (Shall try and get as many rooms at the earliest, as check-in time is 12 noon).

After lunch at Hotel, proceed with the tour of Varanasi, located on the Ghats of the holy river Ganges. We begin our tour with a visit to the Durga temple, the holy temple is also known as “monkey temple” is one of the spiritual temples of Varanasi. This temple is dedicated to Goddess Durga. then visit the new Vishwanath temple of Varanasi is located on the premises of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU). After this visit, the Sankat Mochan temple is one of the sacred temples of Varanasi. Also, visit Tulsi Manas temple is one of the most famous temples of Varanasi. After this, we visit Kashi Vishwanath temple is the most famous and important temple of Varanasi located on the western bank of India’s holiest river Ganges. After Darshan witnesses, the Sapta Rishi Aarati is held. In the evening participate in an Arti Ceremony (collective prayer) and watch the floating Diyas (lamps) on the river Ganges.

DAY 04: Varanasi – Allahabad

After breakfast at the hotel depart by surface for Allahabad. Upon arrival in Allahabad and transfer to Hotel

Afternoon visit Sangam, the meeting point of three holy rivers – Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. This holy place comes alive during the Ardh Kumbh Mela / Kumbh Mela attracting millions of devotees from All over India and the world Later we will visit the Hanuman temple near Sangam were the largest recline image of Hanuman. It is believed that the river rises during the annual floods to touch the feet of the image before receding back. Also, visit the Shankar Viman Mandapam. This is a 130 ft. high structure with four floors.

DAY 05:  Allahabad – Ayodhya – Lucknow – Delhi

After lunch at a local restaurant, depart by surface for Ayodhaya, the divine land where Lord Rama was born and spent much of his lifetime is one of the most important pilgrimages in India. Situated on the banks of river Saryu, Ayodhaya is the place where you can walk over the streets where Lord Rama or Goddess Sita might have passed thousands of years back.
Upon arrival, we visit Ramkot, the chief place of worship in Ayodhya. After this visit the Hanuman Garhi temple, an ancient temple (you need to climb 76 steps to visit the temple).  Hanuman, the follower of Lord Rama, he was lived in a cave here and guarded the Janmabhoomi (birthplace) of Lord Rama. After this visit the Treta Ka Mandir, where Lord Rama had performed the Ashvamedha Yajna. The temple was constructed by the Raja of Kullu approximately 300 years ago. After touring in time transfer to Faizabad railway station at Faizabad (6 Kms) / Lucknow railway station (150 km) to board an overnight train for Delhi.

DAY 06:  Arrive Delhi – Kurushetra

Met upon arrival at the Delhi’s railway station and transfer to your hotel for some sharing wash & change rooms. After freshen-up and breakfast at the hotel, depart by surface for the holy place of Kurukshetra with lunch en route.

DAY 07:  Kurushetra – Rishikesh

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed with a visit of the Ban Ganga, also known as Bhishma Kund where Bhisma, he was laid on a bed of arrows on the tenth day of the battle wounded by perfidy But before he died he felt thirsty asked water then Arjuna shot an arrow into the earth from where a fountain of water begin from river Ganges and water has fallen into the mouth of Ganga son Bhisma.

DAY 08:  Rishikesh

After breakfast at Rishikesh hotel and we go to the city tour of Rishikesh, the city is located on the bank holy river Gangs. Rishikesh one the Gateway to enter Char Dham of Hindu Pilgrimage yatra. Then we proceed with the visit of The Triveni Ghat with a local guide located in the middle of town is the most famous ghat in Rishikesh.

Then we will visit ashrams at Swarg Ashram include Kali Kumbliwale founded by Swami Vishudhananda, Parmarth Niketan Ashram where the large statues of gods and goddesses, the Gita Bhavan. Your guide will take you the old footbridge called Lakshmanjhula – named after the brother of Lord Rama.  Before finish our tour we will visit  Muni-ki-Reti.

DAY 09:  Rishikesh – Hardiwar – Rishikesh

After morning breakfast at Rishikesh hotel and we will depart for Same day excursion to Holy city Haridwarer-situated on the right side of the bank of the holy Ganga and it is the last point where the river spreads on the northern Indian plains. Haridwar is linked with both Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu Haridwar is one of the sacred cities of India. Visit the This Ghat is one of the most sacred Ghats in India. People say that this Ghat was constructed during the time of Vikramaditya and dedicated this ghat in memory of his brother Bhartrihari. This Ghat is also known as Brahma Kund Ghat. After this visit the Mansa Devi temple located atop of a hill called the Bilwa Parvat. The temple which can be reached by the ropeway gives a panoramic view of Haridwar. After the tour drive onward to Rishikesh.

DAY 10:  Rishikesh – Delhi

After breakfast depart by surface or train for Delhi with lunch en route at a local restaurant.

DAY 11: Delhi (Departure)

After breakfast at the hotel, a full day at leisure for individual activity.  Check-out from Hotel and transfer to Delhi Airport/railway station to board train/flight for onward Destination.
