Ayurveda

Doctors and therapists attach great importance to traditional treatments and strict adherence to the Ayurveda teaching. Daily consultations with the doctor and therapies are the essence of the cures. Yoga and meditation take place in a wonderfully located yoga pavilion and are an important part of the Ayurveda cure. Since the Ayurveda resort only has 18 suites, optimal care and individual coordination of the cure is guaranteed. Only serious cures with a minimum stay of 14 days they offered.

Location of Resort

The Kalari Kovilakom palace is located in a small village at the foot of the Annamalai mountain range in the hinterland of Kerala and is 120 km (approx. 3-4 hours) from Cochin airport and 80 km (approx. 2-3 hours) from Coimbatore. The rural landscape is characterized by rice fields and palm groves.

Advantages of the resort

The palace includes an Ayurveda center, a library, a yoga pavilion, the Kalari martial arts center, an herb and vegetable garden and a vegetarian restaurant. There are also regular cooking classes and cultural performances. Every guest gets comfortable cotton clothes for the stay.

Rooms and Category

The 18 palace suites are simply and tastefully furnished. The resort is run in the style of an Indian ashram and is an ideal retreat (no TV). The Venungad suites are slightly larger than the Kovilakom suites.
